Exam Focus provides comprehensive syllabus coverage designed with past papers in mind. You get an eBook plus a presentation with slides and audio lectures. Best for candidates starting from scratch — no prior knowledge needed.
CheatBook is a book, not a course. It's written with the examiner's mindset — focused on exam skills and technique rather than teaching the syllabus. Ideal after completing Exam Focus or for resit candidates who already have background knowledge.
Professional Practice prepares you for the exam by teaching you how professionals tackle tax issues in practice. For CTA Advanced Technical and EA, Professional Practice is the primary course type. For ADIT Thematic modules, it's available alongside Exam Focus and CheatBook as an optional resource that adds practical depth. No prior knowledge needed.
It depends on your qualification and where you are in your study journey:
- New to the subject: Start with Exam Focus — it teaches the full syllabus from scratch
- Resitting or have background knowledge: CheatBook focuses on exam technique and what examiners want
- CTA Advanced Technical or EA: Professional Practice is the primary course type for these qualifications
- ADIT Thematic with PP available: You can use Professional Practice alongside or instead of Exam Focus for a practical approach

MojiTax covers four qualifications: ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation), CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser), EA (Enrolled Agent), and the Pillar Two GloBE Rules Award. ADIT and CTA are administered by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT); EA is administered by the IRS.
Yes. Course content is updated ahead of each exam sitting to reflect the current syllabus, including any changes to legislation, exam structure, or exam body guidance. If your materials show a previous year, check the course page — content may already be updated for the upcoming sitting. You receive all updates for the duration of your access at no extra cost.

On the web, you study directly on the MojiTax platform where everything is organised and up to date. The MyTaxExam app lets you download encrypted versions of your course materials for offline study on your mobile device. Once you have access to a course, create your study plan in the app and the content is automatically available for download. Downloaded materials can only be accessed through the app.
Past exam papers are not included in the web courses. However, the MyTaxExam app includes a full archive of past exam questions. On the web platform, Exam Focus and CheatBook courses each include a professionally-marked mock exam to prepare you for exam conditions.

Bundles are multi-course packages with extended access periods, designed for candidates completing an entire qualification. For example, the ADIT Exam Path gives you 5 years of access to 3 ADIT modules for £2,500, and the CTA Exam Path gives 3 years of access to all CTA courses for £1,800. Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade between subscription tiers at any time. Your new rate takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. After that, course access pauses. You can resubscribe at any time to resume, or purchase individual courses outright for 12 months of access.
If you're studying for one specific module, a single course gives you 12 months of access at a fixed cost. If you're working through multiple modules or want to explore different course types, a subscription lets you access several courses monthly. Yes. Email admin@mojitax.com with your account email and the purchase you need documentation for. We'll send an invoice or receipt, which is also useful if your employer is reimbursing your training costs.

MojiTax Tools at tools.mojitax.co.uk is an international tax practice simulator included with Professional Practice courses. You work through real-world forms, filings, and scenarios to build practical skills. The platform includes a downloadable skills matrix that benchmarks your competence across the topics you've practised.
MyTaxExam is the MojiTax mobile app, coming to Android first. It includes a course planner, exam body directory, offline study mode, past exam question archive, and smart reminders for topic reading and exam deadlines. Visit mytaxexam.com for updates.
Yes, via the MyTaxExam app. Once you have access to a course, create your study plan in the app and the content is automatically available to download as encrypted files for offline study. On the web platform, you need an active internet connection to access your courses.
Log into your MojiTax account at mojitax.co.uk. Your courses appear in your dashboard immediately after purchase. Make sure you're logging in with the same email address you used to buy the course. From there you can also access MojiTax Connect. If you've purchased a Professional Practice course, you'll also have access to MojiTax Tools.

Yes. MojiTax is the only platform where mock exams are marked by professionals and embedded directly in courses. Both Exam Focus and CheatBook courses include a professionally-marked mock exam as standard.
Mock exams are marked and returned within 5 working days. You receive detailed feedback to help you identify areas for improvement before your actual exam.
MojiTax is a CIOT-recognised provider for ADIT and the Pillar Two GloBE Rules Award. CTA courses are also aligned to the CIOT syllabus. EA courses prepare you for the IRS Enrolled Agent examination. MojiTax has been a recognised ADIT provider since 2020.
No training provider can guarantee exam results. What we can say is that MojiTax students have achieved 100% pass rates in multiple ADIT exam sittings since 2020, and our students have won the "Best Overall" award in the ADIT Energy Resources module twice (December 2023 and June 2024). Our courses are designed to give you the best possible preparation.
Study hours vary by qualification, module, and your existing knowledge. Exam bodies publish recommended study hours in their candidate guidance. As a general rule, plan to spread your study over several months rather than cramming. Professional Practice courses include a Skills Matrix from MojiTax Tools — a detailed record of what you studied, study hours, tools used, and dates completed. The Skills Matrix includes QR code validation so employers and professional bodies can verify it directly. This is more comprehensive than a generic CPD certificate and can serve as professional development documentation.
